Times are tough, it seems, in the governor’s mansion in Maine.

Paul LePage is the lowest-paid governor in the nation, taking in only $70,000 per year, and now his wife has taken a summer job waiting tables.

Ann LePage is working at McSeagull’s restaurant in Boothbay Harbor, serving up such delights as the “Lobster Chicken Bomb” and “Off The Wall Cheeseburger Pizza.”

She worked her first double shift Thursday and said waitressing is "something I've always, always wanted to do," the AP reports.
